Meaning of South Korean Flag



         Flag of South Korea named Taegukki (태극기). Taegukki consists of a circle which is right in the middle of the flag, and in every corner there are three rectangular lines.
         Circles located at the center of the flag is divided equally, the red is called 'Yang', while the blue called 'Um'. The symbol describes two opposites and shows duality of the universe.
         Rectangular lines, showing about conflict and balance. Each line has a meaning which is believed to be essential elements for human life. The notion as a symbol row, which includes Heaven, Water, Earth and Fire.
